The easiest ways to live a better life

What we call reality is mainly explored in linear time. That means that we can categorize our life into two aspects.

  1. The mental realm: Is all the information we perceive in our mind. All the mental action that is happening in our thoughts.
  2. The physical realm: Is all the information we perceive with our senses. All the physical action that is happening around our physical presence.

In this article, we will share the easiest ways to live a better life and tips to improve both realms.

For the mental realm, it is critical to understand that the mechanism of the mind is something that we have. It is not something that we are. Having a deeper understanding that this mechanism is working, we experience thoughts as an awareness. If you are experiencing strong mental activity do not try to stop the mechanism, let the mechanism do the work that needs to be done without any identification with it.

Another easy way to redirect awareness is to consciously follow our breath. Try to sit with your spine straight and have a few full breaths.

For the physical realm, it is critical to monitor temperature and hydration. An easy way to understand your hydration levels is by observing the color of your urine. If it is too yellow, you are dehydrated, if it is white you are overhydrated.

Another important aspect of the physical realm is to be conscious about the information we perceive from our senses. Most people watch TV and YouTube and consume content recklessly. It is really important to always ask yourself: Do I really need to watch this? What is the impact, the effect of my actions right now?

If you really become conscious of your actions during your waking time you will be amazed at how much time you spend doing activities that have a negative impact on your physical and mental health.

Conclusion:

The physical and mental realms are interconnected. Start building the skill of being conscious during your day. It is just a skill that you will become better and better every day you practice.
